Miftah Aqari (“we”, “our”) operates the mobile app and related real-estate matching services in Mauritania. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what your rights are.

Depending on how you use the service, we may collect: phone number, PIN (stored securely), name and profile photo, listings and media you publish, chat messages, approximate or precise location (if you allow it), push notification tokens, and technical data (device type, access logs).
3. Purposes
We use this data to create and manage your account, publish and display listings, enable contact between users, send alerts and notifications, secure the service (OTP, fraud prevention), process listing fees (e.g. Bankily), and improve the app.
4. Legal basis
Processing is based on performance of the contract (providing the service), your consent (notifications, geolocation, marketing where applicable), and our legitimate interest in securing and improving the platform, in accordance with applicable Mauritanian law.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your data. It may be shared with: other users when needed for the service (e.g. contact details tied to a listing), technical providers (hosting, SMS/OTP, file storage, notifications), and authorities when required by law.
6. Retention
We keep your data while your account is active, then for a limited period needed for legal obligations, security, and dispute resolution. You may request account deletion; some data may be retained in anonymized or archived form if required by law.
7. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures (secret encryption, access control, logging) to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure; please protect your device and PIN.
8. Your rights

The service is intended for adults or persons able to contract under Mauritanian law. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
